WHY BOOK WITH KISS BY KATIE?

We've been specializing in bridal services for over 8 years and are known for bringing an exciting, cheerful energy to your big day!

Our goal is to provide outstanding service to you at your desired location so that any stress or worry about traveling to a salon is completely eliminated. As a boutique business, we make it a point to have open communication with all of our brides and clients. Behind every email or text is a human heartbeat over here, so any questions or changes to the day of is a quick adjustment on our end! Our team can also accommodate large parties, making sure that all your girls look beautiful and cohesive. We even offer to make a service timeline for you so that the day runs smoothly! Our products are always of the highest quality to ensure that your hair + makeup lasts all day and night leaving you picture perfect at every moment!

 

HOW DO I BOOK?

Because we book up to a year in advance, we require a signed proposal + contract with a 50% nonrefundable deposit of your total services. 

All appointments remain unreserved with Kiss by Katie until your contract & retainer have been received.

WHAT IS CONSIDERED PEAK SEASON?

In Texas, peak wedding season is divided into two seasons: Spring & Fall.

The Spring months include March, April, & May while the Fall months include September, October, & November. 

If your wedding falls in one of these months, the {day of} minimum applies to your appointment.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

Although we don't offer discounts based on volume, services are promoted through booking hair and makeup as a package.

We also offer complementary items with each appointment such as false lashes, neck bronzing, veil placement,

and 20 miles travel for your convenience. 

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE NEED SERVICES?

All appointment times, artists, & products are booked based on the information within your proposal.

After your contract has been signed, services may only be added at the artist's discretion, if time allows.

Any decrease in services will still render the same original balance outlined in the proposal.

DO YOU OFFER "PARTIAL MAKEUP" APPLICATIONS?

In order to ensure the cohesion, quality, and longevity of your makeup, we do not offer "partial makeup".

WHY ARE TRIAL RUNS REQUIRED?

We feel that trial runs are extremely important for all of our brides-to-be.

It allows our clients to work closely with our artists to create a personalized, unique aesthetic, prior to the big day.
We always recommend utilizing your trial for an engagement session, bridal portraits, rehearsal dinner, etc.
Since weddings are usually booked Friday-Sunday, most trial runs are held Monday-Thursday.

 

HOW SHOULD I SHOW UP TO MY APPOINTMENT?
We ask that you come to your appointment with a squeaky clean face, no makeup on, and 100% dry hair.

If booked for a hairstyle, we prefer that you wash and dry your hair the night before your appointment.

HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT LAST?

Although every appointment is different, each service is allotted 45 mins

at the time of booking but can take up to 1 hour.

HOW IS GRATUITY HANDLED?

Gratuity is not included in your service rates but is always greatly appreciated!
